On this, Valentine’s Day, we came across a quote that was shared by FitSugar on Facebook. It stopped us in our tracks because it is everything we believe in at FitnessGlo and it is about love after all:
“I don’t work hard because I hate my body, I work out because I love it.”
Loving of our bodies is easier said than done, of course. We all have days where we compare ourselves to others, wish our bodies were stronger, taller, leaner and so much more. One of the best ways to get closer to loving your bodies (and further away from the doubt and negative self-talk) is to start a regular exercise program. You may not be head over heels in love with your body every day…but what a great goal, no?
