Notice something new about the My Account area today? We launched several new site features today that will help you maintain a fitness schedule, organize your classes and maintain balance across your workouts. Who doesn’t need a little help with scheduling and balance these days?
Here’s what we launched and how you can make the most of these new features:
Tracking Cardio/Strength/Stretch Balance – Do you tend to focus on cardio and never get around to doing strength classes? Do you lift weights and skip cardio? Under Track Workouts we’ve added the ability to see how your weekly workouts are balanced across cardio, strength and stretching to ensure you can plan your week to get a good balance across each.
Creating Playlists – We’ve had several requests from FitnessGlo members to create a “playlist” of a few shorter classes that you can add to one list and hit play. It will play all classes in the order you select without you having to stop, find another class and hit play again and again. To add any class to a playlist, simply rollover the class with your mouse (just as you would to add it to your schedule) and you will see a Playlist + icon. Select that to begin. You can create a 60 minute workout from several FitnessGlo classes or you can create mini-workouts by theme or instructor.
Scheduling Classes – As you know, we launched the ability to schedule classes several weeks ago. You can now do a bit more with scheduling, including setting a class as a “routine” that repeats on selected days of the week. You can also see your Scheduled Classes by week, making it much easier to plan a week of workouts and get reminders about them. To set up your email reminders for classes you’ve scheduled, go to Settings and select how far in advance of a scheduled class you’d like to receive a reminder. We can all use a little nudge on those days when our lives are so busy we forget to take care of ourselves!
As you begin to use these new features, please let us know if you have any comments, questions or feedback on what else you’d like us to add to the site. We value your feedback and want to continually add features that you want to use so FitnessGlo becomes a community that truly supports you. As always, if you have any technical issues at all with the new features, please email us at info@fitnessglo.com so our team can help you troubleshoot and get you Glo-ing right away.
Here’s to a new era of balance on FitnessGlo! Enjoy!

If you’ve been working out regularly with our amazing instructors on FitnessGlo, you may have noticed a few changes. It’s not your imagination, the workouts are getting more challenging!
While we still have many classes for those of you who are just starting out, we’ve changed the nature of our class levels and we’ve added more challenging workouts, just as you all requested.
Here are the new Level descriptions so you can easily select a class that’s just right for you:
Getting Started - Entry level classes that focus on basic movements and introduces the correct function, form and posture for each. These classes are designed for someone who has not worked out in a long time or is completely new to fitness. Congratulations to you for Getting Started!
On My Way – Classes typically include two to three move combinations per class and include an increase in weights as well as the introduction of balance drills. If you are not quite a beginner and find the Getting Started classes to be too easy for you, these classes could be your sweet spot!
In the Groove - If you love to workout, but don’t have time to get to the gym, or are going on vacation and want to take your favorite instructor with you, these are the classes for you. If you are familiar with our team and working out is part of your every day, this will be your go-to classes each week.
Good to Glo - These classes are for the days you want to up the ante. Not something we suggest you do every workout, but a great way to add some extra intensity for the days you are short on time or need to train for a specific event. Never forget that the more intense the workout, the more important it is to fit in recovery days.
Every class on FitnessGlo now fits within these levels – so get out there and start GLOing! As always, please share your feedback with us on what classes you’d like to see more of and any special classes you’d like us to film just for you.
