This week’s question is: What’s your favorite FitnessGlo class that I can do in my hotel room?
Ilyse Baker: My favorite class that is easy to do in the privacy of your own hotel room is my Fun and Easy Cardio Dance workout. This is an upbeat routine that is fun and easy to follow. My students and I are there with you every step of the way to help you have a good time and be successful with your workout. I guarantee that you will become a successful dancer and get an awesome workout. Grab your dance shoes and meet me on the dance floor.
Michelle Dozois: My favorite no equipment workout at the moment is my barre workout.
Denise Klatte: While I always love the body weight workouts, which don’t require any additional equipment, I’ll let you in on a little secret. In the privacy of a hotel room, where there is no chance of being seen, I really enjoy stumbling through the dance workouts! Alex, Ilyse and Petra really know how to break the moves down…if only I had the rhythm! I get a great workout, the time flies, and my abs are aching because I am laughing so hard. Talk about getting my GLO on!
Petra Kolber: My favorite FitnessGlo classes when I am traveling change throughout my trip. When I first arrive I will pick one of the stretch classes, as I have normally been sitting hunched up on a plane. Depending on how long I am staying in the mornings I will normally grab a shorter level 2 cardio class and if it does not include abs I’ll wrap it up with a 10 minute core workout. If there longer than 3 days I’ll pack some tubing in my case and add in some strength classes that use the tubing. I love that piece of equipment, easy to pack and easy to use in small spaces. Many times when I travel to LA I stay with Jeffrey so I get to experience him both online and in person – yes he really is that funny!
Jeffrey Scott: My favorite FitnessGlo workout that I can do in my hotel room is the Anywhere Workout which is perfect for people on the go. It is only 30 minutes and requires no equipment. Just hit play and start moving!
Join Michelle Dozois in a total body workout alternating bouts of cardio using the step and strength training using a flat resistance band. A quick 30 minute workout that will leave you feeling energized and worked out.
If you’re working out from home and you don’t have weights, Jeffrey Scott provides some alternate options for you to use instead. From the medicine ball to hand weights, all of these have an equivalent replacement using an item found at home. Depending on which muscles you’re working out, it is also ideal to pick heavier for some and lighter for others. See what creative suggestions Jeffrey has in-store!
Petra Kolber shares tips on how to safely use tubing to do resistance training. From selecting the level of resistance of each band and adjusting its length to checking wear and tear and learning all-important foot positioning.
